I earned my J.D. with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Communications Law from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in June 2012 and was admitted to practice law in New York State in May 2013.
During law school, I served on the Executive Board of the Intellectual Property Law Society as Copyright Chair. I was actively involved in inviting legal scholars and practicing attorneys to speak to the Cardozo community during my term on the Board and organized events discussing Louis Vuitton’s unfair competition and trademark dilution lawsuit against the makers of The Hangover: Part II and the Authors Guild copyright infringement lawsuits against Google Books and HathiTrust. I also had the honor of serving on the staff of the Cardozo Journal of Law and Gender.
In my current position as an associate with Wahab & Medenica LLC, I am involved with matters relating to trademark, copyright, privacy, e-commerce, entertainment, corporate law, and venture capital. Prior to joining W&M, I interned with a major and an independent record label, where I focused on copyright infringement, recording agreements, and licensing.
